How to crochet a wild Daffodil
For this piccolet I was inspired by the wild one that
throughout the spring colors and smells our meadows and bushes. This vanity
symbol flower is much more scented in the wild version, the sin that you see
more and more
rarely.
rarely.
Explanation of the petals:
Start 12 chains and make: 2 single crochet, 2 half double
crochet, 3 double crochet, 2 half double crochet, 2 single crochet.
Do the same on the other side then insert the galvanized
iron wire and work around the single crochet
Make a total of 6 petals.
Explanation of central corolla
Start 4 chains, close in round
1 lap: 10 double crochet.
2 laps: 10 double crochet.
3 lap: 2 double crochet in each high point underneath and 2 small
chains in every 2 points.
Explanation of the chalice
1 lap: 12 double crochet.
2 laps: 12 double crochet.
Explanation of leaves:
The leaves are of various lengths but the process is the
same.
To make up the jar I made 5 of 50 chains, 7 of 30 chains and
7 of 20 chains
Around the chains, make a round of half double crochet then
insert the galvanized iron wire around the single crochet, work well and twist
over the iron wire to form a small stem that will allow you to insert the leaf
in the jar.
Now that you have prepared everything, we assemble the
flowers.
Sew the petals at their base in a way to create the right
shape (sewn before 3 and then join the others). Then prepare the stems with the
plastic wire and make the pistil with the yellow cotton (the shade you need
because even the colors you have to match them according to your imagination, I
am just an example). Now in the stem first insert the corolla then the flower
and finally the glass you will sew on the flower. Work the chains around the
stem to cover it with cotton and complete the flower.
Now place the little daffodils in the jar and all around the
leaves and admire your creation.
Have fun and next hello.
