How to crochet white Lily

Perhaps the most famous and revered flower since ancient times. The "Lily di Sant'Antonio" is the symbol of purity, virtue and innocence dedicated to Our Lady. To make this crochet flower you need to prepare the petals for both the flower and the bud, the pistils, the calyx and the leaves that are of 2 different sizes. Start 50 little chains.

Cut 2 pieces of about 25 cm each, bring them together, bend them slightly and at the center wrap several times of white cotton to form a small ball. Using a tweezers, twine the double iron wire to form a small stem of about 3-4 cm. The rest will be used to tie the flower to the main stem. Insert the small stem inside the flower, insert the glass and sew it to it. Cover the small shank of union with the cotton by working around the chains. This work must be done for all the flowers and buds that will be connected to the main stem.

Explanation of the big leaf.

Start 35 little chains.

1 lap: 3 single crochet, 3 half double crochet, 3 double crochet, 16 triple crochet, 3 double crochet, 3 half double crochet, 3 single crochet. Redo equal to the other side of the chains.
