How to crochet a Petunia
Its blushing, abundant and explosive blush makes us company
all spring. Petunias are known for the beauty of flowers and are usually used
to create beautiful colored waterfalls to beautify balconies or gardens. So
nice that I wanted to give it a hat and re-create this crocheted flower. I
recreated it by arranging it in a jar as I've seen it, of course you can just
have one to give it to those who want it or use it as a bookmark. Ok we start.
Explanation of the flower
Start 4 chains and in the first one 9 double crochet
1 and 2 laps: 10 double crochet.
3 lap: 20 double crochet (2 points in each base point).
4 laps: 20 double crochet.
5 lap: 40 double crochet (2 points in each base point).
6 laps: 80 double crochet.
7 lap: 1 slip stitch, a single crochet, a half double
crochet, 2 double crochet at a base, 8 triple crochet, 2 double crochet in a
base, a half double crochet, a single crochet, a slip stitch. Repeat equal to a
total of 5 times.
Explanation of the bud.
Start 4 chains and in the first do:
1 lap: 10 double crochet.
2 lap: 20 double crochet (2 points in each base point).
3 lap: decrease of points every 2 points up to a total of 10
double crochet. Now insert the stem by cutting a piece of plastic wire wire
with a twisted tip 2 times to make a nodule, insert it into the bud, and close
the bud with 4, 5 stitches.
Explanation of the chalice.
1 turn: 6 chains and in these make: 2 single crochet, 3 half
double crochet, a slip stitch. Repeat equal to a total of 5 times
When you have done all the flowers and the glasses you need,
prepare the stems with the plasticized wire of the length you need based on the
work you are doing and make knots helping you with a clamp to block the work.
Insert the flower first and then the goblet and work around the stem chains
except that piece that will be inserted inside the jar or if you do it single
work up to the tip and bend the end of the stem to keep the work stuck. Ok, now
it's time to prepare the leaves. The ones I used for this flower are pretty
small and stand out on the sun so I did not use the galvanized iron wire and
stitched them straight to the stem.
Start 16 chains and do these: 3 single crochet, 2 half double
crochet, 2 double crochet in one point, 3 triple crochet, 2 double crochet in
one point, 2 half double crochet, 3 single crochet. Return the same to the
other side, close the work by holding about 15 cm of extra cotton that will
serve to sew the leaf to the stem. Try to sew them one in front of each other.
In every flower I have put 3 or 4 pairs and in the stem
where there are buds I have put 2 or 3. It depends very much on how you want to
create your composition from how big and how many flowers you want to put.
Girls I always hope to have helped you recreate a small masterpiece of mother
nature. I used this color because the person I have to give her loves him so
much, you naturally use all the wonderful colors as they are in nature, put us
all your imagination and your passion and the result will be beautiful. Have
fun as usual and next. Hi everyone.
