Cut a piece of plasticized iron wire of the length and thickness appropriate to the work being carried out. On a point, wrap a little cotton in the same color as the petals. Bend the tip using pliers to block the cotton and obtain a small pistil.
Arrange the petals
sections from the first to the tenth.
Same work for the stem
of the bud, insert the sections of petals from the first to the fourth and bend
them a little to close the bud. Also insert the glass and keep on hanging.
Explanation of the
leaf
The leaves are grouped
in three by the wire.
Start 25 chains.
1st round: 3 single
crochet, 3 half double crochet, 3 double crochet, 6 triple crochet, 3 double
crochet, 3 half double crochet, 3 single crochet. Repeat the same on the other
side of the chains.

half double crochet, 3 single crochet. Repeat the same on the other side of the
chains.
Cut a piece of
galvanized iron wire that makes the complete turn of the leaf 3 times plus
another 3 cm more per side. Insert it on the leaf and work on it with a loop of
single crochet. Stretch the leaf well by modeling it with your hands and twist
the wire 2-3 times to block work. Without cutting the cotton, make the second
leaf and then the third. From the second leaf, to get to the wire and work the single
crochet, go down half the leaf with slip stitch. At the end of the third leaf,
twist the wire for about 1 cm to create a small stem and cover it with cotton,
working the chains around it.
Fasten all the leaves
to the stem and cover it with cotton, working the chains around it.
Shape everything with
your hands by arranging the leaves and sections of petals.
If necessary, starch
the petals, much depends on the type of cotton used.
Place the dahlias in
the center of the pot with the buds around.
See you soon. Bye.
