How to crochet a Fuchsia flower

An ornamental plant with very special flowers, so many were the names she attributed to her. Fucsia has an elegant and graceful flower with its characteristic shape and cheerful and lively colors, the predominant one has its name. The dancing flowers or dancers with their graces and beauty inspired my desire to recreate this crocheted flower.
To accomplish it
you have to prepare the flower, buds, chalices and leaves with its stem.
The flower is composed of the pistil, 2 sections of petals inside and outside petals (I do not know their name).

Explanation of the pistil.

Start 5 chains and close them in circle.
1 turn: 15 chains and in these do: on the third chain, make 2 half double crochet, a slip stitch in the next chain (total 12 single crochet), continue for a total of 4 times. Always inside the circle, make 20 chains and repeat the same work as the 15 chains, a slip stitch to close the job.

Cut a piece of galvanized iron wire about 10 cm long and wrap the fuchsia cotton into the center to form a small ball. Block the ball by twisting the iron wire on it, continue for about 5 cm to form a small stem.
Now with the purple cotton we prepare the 2 sections of inner petals.

Explanation of the inner petals.
Start 4 chains and in the first make 5 double crochet (total 6), run the work.
1 lap: 2 double crochet, 2 triple crochet in a point 2 times, 2 double crochet, turn the job.
2 laps: 2 double crochet, a triple crochet, 2 triple crochet twice in one point for 2 times, a triple crochet, 2 double crochet, get off with slip stitch to the first of the first four chains and resume another identical petal . This will be the first section of 2 petals. The second section of 2 petals is the same as the first one changes only the points of the second lap that I now explain.
Second round of the second section of internal petals: a double crochet, two triple crochet, two double triple crochet in one point for two times, two triple crochet, one double crochet. The procedure is identical to the first section.

With the fuchsia cotton we prepare the outer petal capsule.

Explanation of the external petals.
Start 4 chains and in the first make 11 double crochet (total 12).
1 and 2 laps: 12 double crochet.
3 turns: 14 chains and in these make: 13 single crochet, 3 single crochet. Repeat equal to a total of 4 times.
4 lap: A single crochet, a half double crochet, 2 double crochet, 2 triple crochet, 2 double crochet, a half double crochet, 2 single crochet, 2 slip stitch. Repeat the same on the other side. 3 slip stitch. Repeat the same for a total of 4 times.

Now that we've prepared everything, we can put the flower together. In the little prepared stem we will first place the pistil first, then the first section of inner petals, the second section positioned in the opposite direction to the first and finally the outer petal capsule.

Explanation of the chalice.

Start 4 chains and in the first make 11 double crochet (total 12).
The chalice is the same for both flower and bud, and should not be stitched but just positioned.

Explanation of the bud.

Prepare a small stem as we did for the flower just in the center of the iron wire instead of wrap the cotton wrap some cotton wool or cotton.
Start 4 chains and in the first make 7 double crochet (total 8)
1 lap: 8 double crochet.
2 laps: 16 double crochet.
3 laps: 2 double crochet closed together for the whole lap. Before closing the turn, insert the small stem, making sure that the bud of the bud is in the middle, close the third round.
4 laps: 2 double crochet closed together for the whole lap.
5 laps: with 2-3 slip stitch, close the job.

Insert the cup and cover the small stem with the green cotton working around the chains. Always keep those 2 cm around the iron wire side that will allow you to hook both the buds and the flowers to the main stem.
To make the main stem cut a piece of plasticized wire of the length that suits your composition, wrap a bit of wadding on a tip and help with a pinch curl it one or two times to lock it, then insert the bud with its glass .
Now let's explain the leaves that are of three different sizes.
Start 10 chains.
1 turn: 2 single crochet, one half double crochet, one double crochet, two double crochet at one point, one double crochet, one half double crochet, two single crochet, equal again from the top of the chains. Without cutting the cotton, make 10 more chains and then another identical leaf together with the first one. That chain in the middle will serve to insert the leaves into the stem without needing to sew them.

Explanation of the medium leaf.

Start 15 chains.
1 lap: 2 single crochet, 2 half double crochet, 2 double crochet, 2 triple crochet, 2 double crochet, half double crochet, 2 single crochet, equal equal on the other side of the chains. Continue with the same procedure as the small leaf.

Explanation of the large leaf.

Start 20 chains.
1 turn: 3 single crochet, 2 half double crochet, 2 double crochet, 5 triple crochet, 2 double crochet, 2 half double crochet, 3 single crochet, equal again on the other side of the chains.
Cut off a piece of galvanized iron wire that turns 2 leaves more than 2 cm in diameter per side and insert it into the leaf by working around the single crochet. Wrap the work well, giving it the right shape and twist 2-3 times the iron wire on itself to block the work. Without cutting the cotton make another leaf the same. Then go down with slip stitch to get to the iron wire and place it in the leaf with the same procedure.
Once you've done all the leaves you need for your composition, you'll burn it all to the main stem starting from the top with the buds and the small leaves, with the flowers and the medium and lower leaves the larger leaves that will be fastened directly to the stem through the wire of iron you held in addition.

If you see that the flowers do not hold the shape well (much depends on the type of cotton you are using), put them in a bit.
Once you've put everything in the stem this will be covered with green cotton working around the chains.

I always hope to have been clear in the explanations and have given you an extra idea. Good creation to all.

 Goodbye see you soon.
