How to crochet a Bell Flower

This lovely little flower that makes every garden charming reminds me of the world of fairy tales.

I am pleased to be able to share your explanation with you.

Explanation of the flower

Start 6 little chains and close in circles

1 round: 12 double crochet.

2 round: 24 double crochet.

3 round: 24 double crochet.

4 rounds: 3 little chains, in the next 2 double crochet make 4 double crochet closed together and a pippiolino of 2 little chains, 3 little chains, 1 single crochet.

Repeat a total of 4 times

Explanation of the glass

Start 5 little chains and close in the round and inside make: 5 little chains and in these make 4 single crochet.

Repeat a total of 5 times

Explanation of the leaf

I made them of two different midures to give more naturalness to the whole.

First leaf

Start 25 little chains

Cut the wire of the length of the chains plus an abundant centimeter.

Place it and work around the low points first on one side and then on the other.

Stretch well to give it the right shape then twisting on itself that extra inch that will allow you to insert the leaf into the jar.

I made five of these.

Second leaf

Start 15 little chains

After the same procedure of the other leaf.

I made nine of these.

Now assemble the flowers

With the plasticized wire, prepare the stems of the length you need. In a bit, wrap the yellow cotton to create a ball that will then be the pistil, bend it a little (help yourself with a pincer) to block the cotton. Insert the flower, the glass (you do not need to sew it) and then work around the stem the chains to cover it with cotton.

You can decide to compose a jar like mine or you can make a bunch of bells or insert them into a composition with other flowers.
